I am often amused at how people tend to see me as arrogant because I hold myself to a higher standard. I have observed & learned that those people who will call you arrogant under such circumstances are actually intimidated by your high self-esteem.They won't admit that THEY SEE THEMSELVES as beneath you, but they will try to bring you down to their level instead of striving to raise themselves to yours.
