About Me

My photo
H.S. REED JR.
Harold S. Reed, Jr. is not like many motivational speakers in that he does more than encourage people with a "You can win if believe strong enough" kind of message. Harold's messages are more aggressive, straight forward and blunt. They force you to take a hard & honest look at your condition to where ultimately you have no choice but to realize that both your success and failure are up to you. While not his intention to offend, Harold is no fan of "political correctness" and believes that - as said by Ralph Waldo Emerson, "the purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived & lived well," and because of this happiness & success are the by-products & rewards of doing what you must to be of service to those who request & need it. In his career as a professional speaker, Harold has addressed a number of civic groups, business schools, and business associations. In addition to his service as a speaker and author, in 2009, Harold expanded his commitment to serve by becoming a Certified Professional Life Coach.
